When hiring a painting contractor you want to first find out how long they have been painting, next you want to know if they are licensed or not.

Q. How do I know you are licensed and insured?

A contractor should have a copy of his license and insurance to present to you, if not they can get a copy.

Q. Can I leave my home while your painting crew works?

That is totally whatever you feel comfortable with.

Q. What kind of paint do you use?

We prefer you get the paint, that way you know for sure the color and you can pick out the quality you want.

Q. Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, We guarantee our work if you see something wrong call us we will fix it. But if you don't like the color sorry we don't change that for free.

Q. What is the best season to paint?

The best time of the year to paint is anytime for interior painting, However for exterior you want to paint before it gets too cold or too hot. The best time is in the Spring and in the Fall

Q. What can I do to make the project go more smoothly?

Know ahead of time what you want to have done and the color you want to use.

Q. Who will be there to answer my questions or to address any concerns I may have throughout the project?

We come look at the potential job site and then determine how many coats of paint you need? What all needs to be painted and how long it will take to paint it?

Q. What do we do if you find dry rot?

If we find dry rot we stop and you would need to contact a specialist

Q. How long will it take to paint my house?

There are many factors to consider for that it depends on how big the house is, How many rooms need to be painted, The condition of the current paint job if there is wall paper. There are too many factors to consider that would have to be discussed after the estimate is done.

Q. What hours do your crews work?

We work Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM and by appointment on Sat. we don't work on Sunday.

Q. How will my personal property be protected from paint?

We take pride in our work if anything is left in the room it will be covered by a drop cloth and protected.

Q. What color should I choose?

The color you choose is totally up to you. However neutral colors are easy to paint over in the future. While bolder colors are more difficult.

Q. What are different paint sheens?

The sheens are flat- makes a dull finish, Semi-Gloss- Gives it a shine and Egg Shell which has more luster than a flat finish but you won't be left with shiny walls and matte which has a little shine.

Q. What are the advantages/disadvantages of flat and lower sheen paints?

Flat and lower sheens you can touch up and is usually cheaper than flat. Disadvantages you can't wipe scuff marks off or wipe down easily.

Q. What are the advantages/disadvantages of higher sheen paints?

The advantages of higher sheens are easy to keep clean, easier to get scuff marks off of. Disadvantages are not as easy to touch up and usually cost more.

Q. When do I pay you?

Payment is expected once the job has been completed and reviewed by you.
